A picture of a hacked website from a Saudi! Wow, so we have some people who can hack? Hey at least we aren't complete morons as some people say. All Danish websites, espicially the ones that posted the Prophet's, the hackers are promising for more. So what do I think about this? Well, Denmark's government had no right for saying that this is ' Free Speech '. So if I talked and insulted a Black person would that be right? Espicially if that Black person was their historic leader. Like insulting Jesus, you'd never find that in a Saudi caricature, because we should respect others religions. Making fun of politic figures is different, I see no problem in making fun of our kings and other presidents. But making fun of one of the greatest person in the world?!

Domestic Abuse
This refers to Maha Akeel’s story “Doctors Address Domestic Violence Causes” (Jan. 25) reporting on the Spouse-Child Abuse Conference to “define, assess and recommend solutions” to the problem os domestic abuse in the country. I was a victim of serious spouse abuse and also a witness to my housekeeper being abused. Yet, when I called the police, as my housekeeper was stripped naked and beaten in my courtyard in front of witnesses, they told me to have my husband call them after he had finished. To do that would have meant making him come after me. Every time I told my husband to stop the abuse, he threatened to take my children away from me forever. When the abuser takes advantage of the Islamic system — which gives the father the custody of children after a certain age — to continue the abusive relationship, it is quite difficult to prevent such abuse. When he dishonored my maids, he threatened them that, if they talked about it, he would call them liars and that they would get their tongues cut off for lying. When the system supports the abuser more than the victim, society must realize that there is something wrong. It is a problem that requires research to define how it can be fixed. In the case where a married woman is raped, it should be asked in what way it would benefit her to come forward to report it. Will society give her relief, protection and support? Or will it condemn her for the abuse she suffered rather than punish the perpetrator?
